MEET KRISTIE

NEW LEADERSHIP WITH PROVEN EXPERIENCE FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Born and raised in a small town in Northeast Ohio, the values of faith, hard work, and the American dream were instilled in Kristie Ramsey by her parents at an early age.  These are the values she lived as she made her way through The Ohio State University, built a successful career, humbly served her community, and settled down in Orange Township to raise her family.

After graduating from college, Kristie entered the public sector and worked for the Ohio House of Representatives, Attorney General’s office, and Auditor of State’s office where she led several high-profile projects for the State of Ohio.  She also held a senior-level corporate communications and government affairs position in the private sector.

While moving up the career ladder, Kristie’s world came to a halt in 2009 when her daughter was born two-and-a-half months early and had severe medical issues.  The Ramsey family was not given much hope for their baby girl’s future.  Facing some of the worst news a parent could hear, Kristie rolled up her sleeves, left her corporate success behind, and announced that her new job was to “build her baby’s brain.”  Many called her reaction denial, but when faced with the impossible, Kristie believed through faith, all things were possible.  By the grace of God, today her sweet daughter is a stellar student, avid reader, competition dancer, and softball slugger.

In 2013, Kristie started her real estate business and has built a loyal client base in the Olentangy area.

A lifelong, dedicated public servant, Kristie has served on many boards including Prevent Blindness Ohio, Moms for Ohio, and Northern Ohio Amber Alert.  She also received a gubernatorial appointment to serve on the Ohio Developmental Disability Council.  Locally, Kristie serves as president of the Orange Township Outreach and Communications Committee and leader of Olentangy Service Unit Girl Scout Troop 1948.

Kristie, her husband, and two daughters are active members of Lifepoint Church in Lewis Center.
